Senior Backend Engineer - Payments

8+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments. Design and deliver secure, resilient payment services and integrations end-to-end. Strong proficiency in Python or Go, PostgreSQL, and event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience with API design, distributed systems, observability, and incident response. Solid understanding of payment domain fundamentals such as reconciliation, idempotency, and failure handling. Proven ability to mentor engineers, review architecture decisions, and collaborate with product and cross-functional stakeholders.
